I trust my capabilities

I love driving through terrible weather. Whether it’s a fog or a horrific rain-storm with blinding sunlight: it is such a thrill. It feels both frightening and amusing at once, quite crazy to think about what a thrill actually does. And I’ve come to believe it has something to do with total trust, faith or confidence. Trusting myself entirely; knowing I can handle this situation, knowing I am above this fear and whatever happens: I know I’ve tried my very best to remain calm and focused. It is so delicate and risky to be totally driving through the ‘you don’t know what could happen, though you’ve actually thought about what could happen and if that would happen, then it is supposed to happen or something’.  And each time I get there, at the end, safely; I feel such a redemption;  knowing: Now, I can finally breathe.
