when you don’t use an eraser, it could help you be more careful with each stroke.
you have to think about it but at the same time it prevents you from being a perfectionist
because usually when you draw with pencil and you’ve drawn a line and you don’t like it, you erase it. it’s not that erasing is bad but when you have the chance to redo something you somehow plant this idea in your head that you can make it perfect the second or third try and that adds a lot of pressure for yourself which can sometimes put you off drawing
because you have that doubt and you think it’s going to turn out horrible. so maybe stop erasing all together, loosen up, there is no need for perfection.
